Emma C. Buch Marysville - Emma C. Buch, 99, died Wednesday, December 28, 2005 after a short illness. She was born December 19, 1906 in Sand Beach Twp. In Huron County, MI. She lived in Marysville since 1947. Her husband, Edmund P. Buch died December 9, 1969. She attended school in Huron County. She was employed as a cook at the Gardens School in Marysville for 6 years form 1956 to 1962. She was president of the Marysville Senior Citizens for 12 years. Emma was a member of American Legion Post #449 Auxiliary, St. Christopher Church and the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. She is survived by a son, Edward (Rose) Buch of Marysville; daughters, Bernice (Ferdinand) Putze of Kimball, Ilene Bular of North Street and Deanna (Paul) Gombos of Jeddo; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Victor (Beatrice) Lemanski of Bad Axe, Lucien (Esther) Lenn of Marysville and Elmer Lenn of Marysville; sisters, Lillian Allen of Mt. Morris and Sylvia Smarch of Marysville. She is preceded in death by a son, Elmer Markizik; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Christopher Church. The Rev. Arthur R. Baranowski, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are 3-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the service time at church.
