Frederick Gross

Frederick C. Gross, 43, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, January 10, 2006 in Mercy Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born December 2, 1962 in Sarnia, Ontario and has lived here all his life. Fred married Michelle H. Kujda on January 30, 1999. He enjoyed cooking and was a chef at various restaurants in the area. He was a loving and caring person who was a father figure to all his nieces and nephews and he enjoyed watching wrestling. Fred is survived by his wife, Michelle H. Gross of Port Huron; Brother Daniel V. (Rita) Nicholson of Manistee; sister, Pauline P. Quinn of Ft. Gratiot; brother, Paul P. Gross, Jr of Port Huron and several nieces and nephews. His father-in-law and mother-in-law Daniel and Joan Kujda of Ft. Gratiot. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Charlotte; sister, Janice and brother James. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. Elder Aundrey D. Henderson of Bethlehem Temple Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visiting hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Pallbearers are Paul P. Gross, Jr., Daniel V. Nicholson, Daniel Kujda, Shaun Maclean, Kim Kulick and Mike Pawlak. Honorary pallbearer is Mark Pawlak Memorials in Fred's memory may be made to the wishes of the family.
