Susan Condland

Susan J. Condland, 64, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 21, 2006 unexpectedly in Deckerville Hospital. She was born December 29, 1941 in Port Huron and was a lifelong area resident. She retired from Jensen-Townsend Printing Company. She loved going to auctions and swap meets and loved to sew clothing and quilts. She was a very kind and caring person who loved everyone. She is survived by her loving companion, Bill McKenzie of Deckerville; sister, MaryAnn (Stuart) Johnston of Port Huron; brother, James G. (Nora) Condland of Ft. Gratiot; nephews, Terry Johnston, Joseph, Matt and Michael Condland. Three great nieces, two great nephews; sister-in-law Marge Condland and her best friend Lucille McKenzie. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Pauline Condland and her brother, Teddy L. Condland. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Rev. Edward W. Ritter will officiate. Burial will be in Forester Cemetery. Visiting hours are 2-4 & 7-9 Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
