Mary Kellett
October 15th, 1934 to May 11th, 2006
Mary E. Kellett, 71, of Lexington, passed away peacefully May 11, 2006, after battling a long illness. She was born October 15, 1934 in Detroit and had lived in Lexington for 35 years. Mary was a beautiful knitter, loved to travel with her family and dearly loved all her pets. She is survived by her daughters, Sarah A. (David) Dazer and Grace E. (James) Swarts, both of Port Huron; step-daughters, Penny (Jerry)Stevens of Fairfield Glade, TN and Pam (Milton) Parker of Macomb, MI; granddaughters, Emily Dazer and Lauren Swarts, both of Port Huron and Kelly Stevens of Chatanooga, TN; grandsons, Adam and Cody Swarts of Port Huron, Jason (Johanna) Stevens of Finland, Ryan (Theresa) Parker and Justin Parker, both of Macomb and great grandchildren, Sonja and Eerik Stevens of Finland. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Kellett, February 20, 1995 and an infant brother, James Pellow. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Rev. Tracie Loffhagen, Pastor of All Saints Episcopal Church, Marysville will officiate. Visitation is Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or the American Heart Association "Go Red for Women".
