John David Cook Sr, 45, of Port Huron died unexpectedly Thursday, September 21, 2006 in Mercy Hospital. He was born October 14, 1960 in Port Huron, son of the late Robert and Mary Jean Cook. John worked for Michigan Labors #334 for 19 years and currently was employed at the St. Clair County Road Commission as a welder. He is survived by his wife, Jody of Port Huron; sons, John Cook Jr ( Laura Willey), Joseph and Joshua Cook all of Port Huron. Brothers, Robert (Carol) Cook of Kenockee and Timothy (Kathy) Cook of East China. Sisters, Mary Theresa (Jeff) Ronan of Port Huron, Kristine Williams of Port Huron; Patricia Kramer of Port Huron and Lisa (John) Lee of Ft Gratiot. Brothers-In-Law, Jack (Debra) Wingard of Smiths Creek and Robert (Carla) Wingard of Villa Rica, GA; sister-in-law Cheryl Molinaro of Port Huron; mother and father in-law Frank and Diane Dalton of North Port, FL and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Special friends, Craig VanHusen, Rick & Deanna Frazer, Edward & Mary Quain, Julius & Shannon Clubba, James Armstrong, his partner at work Chuck Evans, many other friends and his dog Blaze. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Brian K. Cokonougher will officiate. Visitation is 9 a.m. Monday at the church. Memorials in John's memory are requested to the Wishes of The Family.
