Theresa Elliott

Theresa M. Elliott, 88, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, October 18, 2006 in her home after a short illness. She was born July 17, 1918 in Port Huron to the late Louis and Mary Weber and was a lifelong resident. She married Franklin L. Elliott January 28, 1939 in Port Huron. Frank died May 5, 1993. Theresa was a founding member of St. Mary Church, a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Altar Society. She was active on the Evangelism and Funeral Luncheon Committees of St. Mary Parish. Theresa was also a member of the League of Catholic Women. She enjoyed crocheting and caring for the needs of her family. Theresa is survived by her children, Frank J. (Judy) Elliott of Fort Gratiot, J. R. (Karen) Elliott and Catherine M. (William) Kahle, both of Port Huron and Mary Therese (Wes) Barry of Kalkaska, MI; 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and her sisters-in-law, Cathy Weber of Port Huron and Dorothy Weber of Denver, CO. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2006 in St. Mary Church, Port Huron. Visiting will precede the Mass, beginning at 9 a.m. Memorials may be made to St. Mary Church, Mercy Hospital or Blue Water Hospice.
