Irene Kemp

Irene V. Kemp, 91, of Port Sanilac, died Thursday, October 26, 2006 in Fair Acres Care Center in Armada. She was born January 10, 1915 in Detroit and had lived in Port Sanilac from 1961 until 2003 when she was admitted to Fair Acres Care Center. Irene married Alfred Kemp July 10, 1937 in Detroit. He died November 28, 2003. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Sanilac. Irene is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Stephen Franks of Oscoda, MI, her son and daughter-in-law, Al and Jane Kemp of Oakland, MI; her sister, Marion Lemans of Inkster, MI; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Family burial services took place in St. John Cemetery, Port Sanilac. A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
