Carol Youngs

Carol L. Youngs, 38, of Fort Gratiot went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 13, 2007. Carol was born March 14, 1968 in Rochester, Michigan and had lived in the Blue Water area for the past three years. She married Michael N. Youngs on February, 17, 2006 in Port Huron. Carol was employed with Visiting Nurses Association. She enjoyed working on scrap books and was a cheerleading coach in Florida for several years. Carol loved her family very much and will be sadly missed by all. Carol is survived by her husband, Michael N. Youngs of Fort Gratiot; daughter, Brittany J. Romani of Fort Gratiot; sons, Jason, Weston and Dustin Romani of Fort Lauderdale, FL; sons Sean M. Youngs and Dustin A. Youngs of Fort Gratiot; daughter Michelle M. Youngs of Fort Gratiot; parents, Mel and Joyce Webb Jr of Almont, MI and Greenvalley, AZ; sisters, Melanie M. Webb, Catherine M. McDonald and Lisa A. Oswald all of Almont; brother, Scott Webb of Ball Ground, GA; great-grandmother, Mary Gwisdalla of Shelby Twsp; mother-in-law, Carolyn L. Youngs of North Street; grandmother-in-law, Evelyn Nelson of Port Huron and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Casimir Gwisdalla; grandparents, Melvin O. Webb, Sr and Leo Agnes Webb, father-in-law Dr. John A. Youngs M.D. and her loving dog Blue. A rosary and celebration of Carol's life will be 8 p.m. Friday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerard P. Frawley, pastor of St John The Evangelist Parish, Allenton will officiate. Visitation is 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 4 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorials in memory of Carol may be given to the wishes of the family.
