James Lang

James M. Lang, age 85, born and raised in Detroit, passed away February 25, 2007 in Port Huron. Beloved husband of Virginia for 62 years; loving father of Jaimie Lang, Janice Coffey (Rodney), Cynthia Lang, Timothy J. Lang (Cindy), Patricia Fair (Jad) and Michael Lang (Diane); dear grandfather of Greg, Kacie, T.J., Kaitlin, Kelsey, Carly and Christopher. Jim worked as a mechanical engineer until he retired. Jim loved golf and Lake Huron and enjoyed many years at his cottage on Butternut Drive. One of his greatest joys in life was entertaining his friends and family at his beloved cottage and cooking up a filet on the grill and serving it with a glass of Lancers Rose. A memorial service will be held for Jim at a later date along the shores of Lake Huron. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
