Frank Talarico

Frank P. Talarico, 82, of Port Huron Township, died Friday, May 25 in Port Huron Hospital after a long illness. He was born April 28, 1925 in Flint and has lived here since 1966. Frank married Imogene A. Baur June 26, 1948 in Flint. He was a retired sales representative for McKesson Pharmaceuticals with thirty-eight years of service. Frank was a veteran of W.W. II, serving with the Army Air Corps in the European Theatre. He was a member of B.P.O.E. #343, L.O.O.M. #158, Chas Hammond Post #8, American legion and Chas Schoor Post #7696, V.F.W. He was twice selected "Elk of the Year" in 1992 and 93. Frank is survived by his wife, Imogene; his daughter, Toni Vesper of Swartz Creek, his sons, Dan of Melbourne, FL and Dennis of Port Huron; grandsons, Tim (Andrea) Vesper of Swartz Creek and Ben (Sara Ledford) Vesper of Bolingbrook, Il; great granddaughters, Sarah and Emma Vesper both of Swartz Creek; brother, John (Dorothy ) Talarico of Flint; sisters-in-law, Pauline Talarico of Beaverton, MI and Marjorie Parks of Flint and several nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters and his son-in-law, Don Vesper. In accordance with Frank's wishes there will be no viewing or services. A memorial luncheon will be held Sunday, June 10, 2007 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 3292 Beach Rd, Port Huron. Because of family allergies, no flowers are desired but memorials may be made to Make a Wish Foundation, Community Service of Elk's Lodge #343 or the charity of the donor's choice. A special thank you to the Visiting Nurses Association for their care. Cremation has taken place.
