Kenneth R. "Dick" Rickett Montrose - Kenneth R. "Dick" Rickett, 74, died Saturday, June 9, 2007 in Fenton. He was born July 5, 1932 in Sanilac County. He married Vivian Terese Fleury on August 19, 1953 in Angola, IN. She died July 15, 1996. Dick worked at GM Fisher Body retiring in 1980. He enjoyed NASCAR, bowling, football, baseball and camping with his sister-in-law and her family. He was a member of the Montrose Masons. He especially loved spending time with his twin grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter, Phyllis (Matthew) Harwood and grandchildren, Donavan and Allyson Harwood all of Fenton; sisters, Earlma Keene and Elda (Terry) Burns, both of Port Huron; step-sisters, Bonny Case and Cindy Struthers; sister-in laws and brother-in laws, Betty Rickett, Mary (Tony) O'Donnell, Phyllis Fleury, Joseph (Joyce) Fleury, Yvonne (Larry) Snowden, Charles (Helen) Fleury, Dennis (Beverly) Fleury, Paul (Sandy) Fleury, Pauline Deering, Melissa Fleury, Virginia (Joseph) Walker, Annette (Pat) McAuley, James (Debbie) Fleury and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sons, Michael and Norman Rickett; granddaughter, Emily; his parents; brothers, Fred, Raymond, Norman and Robert; sisters, Vonda Walker and Geraldine Craig. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home, Port Huron. The Rev. C. Paul Higdon will officiate. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott and Doug Snowden and Paul Deering. Visiting hours are 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Children's Miracle Network or the charity of the donor's choice.
