Marjie Anthony

Marjie L. Anthony, 76, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 in her home following a long illness. She was born on November 30, 1931 in Port Huron daughter of the late Thomas A. and Myrtle M. (Hall) Glenn. Marjie married Dave Anthony at St. Stephen Catholic Church in 1951. She attended St. Stephen's Catholic Church and was a member of St. Anne's Altar Society. She was a former member of the Cedar Club and was a founding member of the Macomb County Association for Retarded Children. She is survived by her husband, Dave; daughter's Mary Stone of Rochester; Terry Walleman of Bull Head City, Az; son, Tom Anthony of Marysville; grandchildren, John, Benjamin, Aaron and Dawn; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Tom (Lola) Glen of Marysville; Owen Glen of Florida; sister, Mildred (Vernel) Hillman of Brown City and foster brother Keith (Leona) Dennison of Marysville. Marjie was preceded in death by her brother Jim. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Stephen's Catholic Church. The Rev. Alain Mayama will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visiting hours are 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be given to the A.R.C. of St. Clair County or St. Stephen's Catholic Church.
