Sheria L. Perod Atkinson

Sheria Perod Atkinson, 54, of Fort Gratiot Township died Monday, August 21, 2017.

She was born January 5, 1963 in Zama, Japan to William R. and Betty Perod.

Sheria was a graduate of Votech Vocational Center in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was a store manager at Walgreens.

She loved her family and her dogs, Gizmo and Molly.

She is survived by her daughter, Autumn (Jesse) Dunsmore of Wisconsin; her mother, Betty Perod of Fort Gratiot; two sisters, Soni Perod of Fort Gratiot and Shelly Perod of Fort Gratiot; brother, Bill Perod (Nikki) of Troy, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, William R. Perod and infant twin brother, William.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, August 24, 2017 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. Deacon John Connors will officiate.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Bill Perod, Steven Foglesong, Adam Foglesong, Jesse Dunsmore, Dennis O’Connor and Lukas Kellerman.

Memorials may be made to the family.
