Isabelle Traver

Isabelle Rose Traver, 95, formerly of Port Huron, died May 11, 2006 in Eagle Wisconsin. She was born August 4, 1910 in Detroit and lived in Port Huron from 1971 until 2004 when she moved to Wisconsin. Isabelle married Edward F. Traver June 19, 1937 in Detroit. Edward died May 9, 1978. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a long time member of St. Mary Church. Isabelle is survived by her five children, Cecilia (Howard) Cabin of Chicago, Dr. Joan (Robert Appel) Traver of Ellison Bay, WI, Daniel (Joanne) Traver of Alexandria, LA, Arthur Traver of Chicago and David (Mary) Traver of Eagle, WI; grandchildren, Patricia (Mark) Jacobson and Courtney Cabin, both of Chicago, Daniel Traver of Orlando, FL, David Traver of Ft. Wayne, IN, Timothy Traver of Chicago, Dr. Michael (Carrie) Traver of Winston-Salem, NC and Dana (Chad) Richardson of Loveland, OH; a great grandchild, Greta Traver and a niece, Judy Gleason. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, her sister, Amalia Pasternacki, her brother, Arthur Cyrowski and her daughter-in-law, Dorothy Traver Mass of the Resurrection for Isabelle will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2006 at St. Mary Church. The Rev. Simeon T. Iber, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
