Lawrence Neumann

Lawrence Thomas Neumann, 45, of Jeddo, died unexpectedly Wednesday, July 23, 2008 in Port Huron Hospital. Larry was born April 10, 1963 in Port Huron and was a lifelong area resident. He was a loving and devoted father. Larry loved sports and played baseball as catcher which was his favorite position. He coached for a short time. He also enjoyed fishing and camping in northern Michigan. Those were some of his favorite times to relax in the quiet of the country which he loved. Larry is survived by his son, Lawrence L. Neumann of Jeddo; his mother, Marjorie Joan Neumann of Ft. Gratiot; siblings, William G. (Robin) Neumann, Jr. of Ft. Gratiot, Patricia (Tim) Phare of North Street and Michael Neumann of Port Huron He was preceded in death by his father, William G., Sr. and his sister, Connie Neumann. The funeral liturgy will take place at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Edward Catholic Church, Lakeport. The Reverend Joseph M. Esper, Pastor, will officiate. Visitation is today from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and on Saturday at the church beginning at 1:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Edward Church.
