Mary Coronado

Mary L. Coronado, 86, passed away

peacefully on Saturday, November 14, 2009.

She was born August 5, 1923 in

Laredo, TX to the late Juan Jose and Celia Chavez. She married

Gabriel C. Coronado, Sr. on March 27, 1944 in Asherton, TX.

Mary was an active member of St.

Vincent de Paul and the Daughters of Mary of Our Lady of Guadalupe

Mission. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She

was very much loved and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 65

years, Gabriel, Sr.; three daughters, Sadie Sanchez, Nora (Fred)

Castillo and Gilda (Tony) Castillo; three sons, Gabriel, Jr., Rudy

(Janet) and Lon Coronado; several grandchildren and great

grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Mass for Mary will be held at Our

Lady of Guadalupe Mission Site of Holy Trinity Parish at 12 Noon on

Thursday. The Reverend Brian K. Cokonougher, Pastor, will preside.

Grandsons will be pallbearers. Visitation will be Wednesday from

2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The

Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be

made to the wishes of the family.
