Donald Harbron

Donald R. Harbron 86, loving husband of Norma Jean Harbron, passed on to join our Lord on Feb. 8, 2010 in Florence, Alabama after a long illness. Donald was born November 23, 1923 in Port Huron where he lived most of his life. Donald was a World War II Veteran of the Normandy Campaign.

He is survived by three sons: Charles Carr of Birch Run and wife Monica, Jack Carr of Lexington, Alabama and wife Theresa and Robert Harbron of Farmington Hills and wife Karen; brother Gerald Harbron of Port Huron; two sisters: Lois Nault of Howell and Joan Payne of Venice, Florida; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Smith of Port Huron.

A memorial service will be held for Donald at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home, Elk St., Port Huron on Saturday, April 10, 2010. Visitation begins at 11:00 am. with the memorial service at 1:00 pm.. A Chapel Service will be held at 2:00 pm. at Lakeside Cemetery where his cremains will be interred.
