Jessica L Humphrey

Jessica Lynn Humphrey, 34, of Port Huron, died Monday, March 5, 2018.

She was born October 7, 1983 in Port Huron.

Jessica was a customs broker for several years. She graduated from Port Huron Northern High School in 2002.

She was given the gift of life and now she has given it back. Although she was only here for a short while, we are all more enriched souls for having the pleasure to live, laugh, and love with her.

Jessica was a wonderful daughter, precious sister and loving granddaughter. She was a devoted Michigan football fan, enjoyed karaoke, and times she spent with her friends and her family. She was a warm and kind person who lit up the room with her presence. She was a gentle soul who will truly be missed.

She is survived by her mother, Michelle (Patrick) Chrivia; her father, Byron (Julie) Humphrey; her stepfather, Martin (Kimberly) Bodeis; her grandparents, Robert Gamble, Patricia (Bill) Sinnett and Connie (Cliff) Hanel; siblings, Brittany (Jeremy) Brown, Chelsea Bodeis, Alec Chrivia, Taylor Humphrey and Kaitlyn Humphrey; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a nephew, Easton. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Shirley Gamble.

Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. A time of sharing will be held at 5:30 p.m.

Jessica will lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018 in St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rev. Zbigniew Zomerfeld will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
