Roy J Anderson

Roy John Anderson, 91, of Kenockee Township, died Wednesday, April 4, 2018.

Roy was born April 17, 1926 in Detroit to the late Algott and Elsie Anderson.

He graduated from Lawrence Technological University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and retired from Ford Motor Company. He loved gardening, going to the casino and traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn Seifert-Anderson; six children, Glenn, Kay, Larry, Jane, John and Tom; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two wives, Loreita and Sharon Anderson.

A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2018 at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation from 4 to 9 p.m. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.
