Harry Thomas

Harry Thomas, age 93 of Ray, Michigan passed away on Monday November 14, 2011, at Port Huron Hospital.
He was born on Mitchell Street in Detroit, Michigan on March 12, 1918. He was a graduate of Lawrence Institute of Technology in Detroit. He became an engineer for the United States Army during World War II and was put in charge of the wiring for the B29 bomber.
Later he continued as an engineer for Hudson Motor Company. In 1962 he moved to Romeo, Michigan with his brother and mother and became a mink rancher.
Harry will be missed by son Robert D. Thomas and wife Linda M. of Kenockee, Michigan, daughter Carol L. Thomas of Silver Spring Maryland, two grandsons, Matthew Croope of Fort Gratiot, Michigan and Nick Worthey of Gaithersburg, Maryland and special friend Dorothy Ridgeway of Roanoke, Virginia, several nieces and nephews and Lulu.
He was preceded in death by his father John Tomaszewski, mother Victoria Zagorski Tomaszewski, sister Isabelle McCoy, brother Edward Thomas and sister Gertrude Zimmerman.
Harry’s wishes were to be cremated with no funeral service, so we are honoring his wishes.
