Gerald McTaggart

Gerald Eugene “Jerry” McTaggart Jr., 59, of Marysville, died Sunday, May 23, 2021.

He was born April 12, 1962 to the late Gerald E. and Nancy A. McTaggart Sr. He married Wenda L. Mattock on June 9, 2001 in St. Clair Methodist Church.

Jerry was a sports fan who enjoyed football, baseball and hockey. He was a jack-of-all-trades. He loved helping people and taking care of anyone who needed it. His family was his first priority and he enjoyed spending time with them. He especially enjoyed being around his granddaughter, Delaney

He is survived by the love of his life, Wenda Mattock-McTaggart; siblings, Fred (Rhonda) McTaggart, Melody Moutoux (Bobby Maddox) and Randy Cameron; son, Eric (Kris) McDonald; granddaughter, Delaney McDonald; brothers-in-law, Ken (Katie) Matlock and Rick (Rosa) Mattock; mother-in-law, Eloise Webb; several nieces, nephews and cousins, including special nephew, Freddy McTaggart, special niece, Danielle McTaggart, special great nephew, Shawn McTaggart and special cousin, Bob McTaggart; and best buddy, Salem. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Charles Mattock.

Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2021 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home
