Larry A Snowden
Larry Andrew Snowden, 87, of Port Huron, died Monday, December 6, 2021.
He was born November 17, 1934 in Port Huron to the late Thomas and Lottie Snowden. He married Yvonne “Bonnie” Fleury on September 18, 1954 in St. Edward on the Lake Catholic Church, Lakeport.
Mr. Snowden retired from Mueller Brass Company after 42 years of employment. He served in the National Guard. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, gardening and tinkering in his garage. He loved watching the freighters pass in Pine Grove Park.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Yvonne; four children, Carole (Doss) Spotts, Douglas (Deborah) Snowden, Tamara (Don) Reynolds and Scott Snowden; 18 grandchildren, Elicia, Andrew, Aaron, Josh, Ashley, Danielle, Courteney, Amber, Shelby, Riley, Carissa, Jason, Jeremy, Andrea, Alex, Dylan, Allyson and Donovan; 37 great grandchildren; two sisters, Judy and Gloria; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Jean Heinz; a grandson, John; a great grandson, Braylon; and siblings, Tom, Kate, Helen and June.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday June 17th at 11:00 AM at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.
