Frank J. Radske

October 21st, 1926 to February 23rd, 2025

Frank Junior Radske, 98, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, February 23, 2025.

He was born October 21, 1926 in Port Huron to the late Frank and Alvina Radske. He met Betty J. Talbot through his brother, and after an evening of playing cards, he knew she was the one. They were married on October 24, 1959 in Port Huron and were married for 48 years until she preceded him in death on October 20, 2008.

Frank was drafted into the U.S. Navy and arrived in Pearl Harbor shortly after the bombing. He served proudly for two years during WWII and upon his return to Michigan, graduated from high school. Frank’s first job was at Gar Woods in Marysville building wooden boats. He later dedicated 38 years to London Dairy, where he played a key role in overseeing operations until his retirement. A true farmer at heart, Frank loved working with his hands and building things, including three homes for his family. He tended to a large garden (and raised two pigs, Frank and Louie), but his chickens were his true pride and joy. Frank was also an active member of Wadhams Baptist Church, where he won two chili cook-offs. He was extremely proud of his large family and loved nothing more than being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Terry Forro (Victor Tesluck), Vicki (Kirk) Fulton, Debby (Rob) Green, Cheryl (Tim) Roelens, Jeannie (Rob) Bennatts, Ron Radske and David Torrey; stepdaughter, Vicki Torrey; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; a brother, Don (Marge) Radske; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three siblings, Louie (Bonnie) Radske, Janet (Don) Kolman and Eugene Radske.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2025 in Wadhams Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor John Jobe will officiate.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fort Gratiot. Pallbearers will be Michael Forro, Christopher McCormick, Timothy Roelens II, Joshua Bettinger, Jacob Radske and Sean Lavery.
