Russell LaGrange

Russell E. LaGrange, 73, of Port Huron, died unexpectedly July 13, 2006 in Detroit Receiving Hospital. He was born August 31, 1932 in Port Huron and was a life long resident. Russ retired as the superintendent of Mt. Hope Cemetery. He was a member of L.O.O.M. #158 and Aerie #3702 F.O.E. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; daughters, Geraldine DeFour, Christina LaGrange, Diane (Wayne) LePiors and Lisa Johnson, all of Port Huron and Patricia (Gregory) Saunders of Avoca; sons, Robert and James Sanford and Michael (Dawn) Carwile, all of Port Huron; several brothers, sisters, grandchildren and great grandchildren; special brother-in-law, Dick Barnes and brothers-in-law, Charles (Ann) Adams, William Adams, Gary Adams and Terence Adams, all of Port Huron and his mother-in-law, Hazel Spangenberg of Port Huron and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lydia LaGrange; his first wife, Shirley and his son-in-law, Paul Johnson. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2006 in the Woodland Cemetery Chapel, Port Huron Township. The Rev. Frederick A. Bodde will officiate.
