Grace Guziak

Grace P. Guziak, 73, of Port Huron Township, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 18, 2006 in her home with her family by her side. Grace was born March 3, 1933 in Lakeland, Fl and had lived in the Blue Water area most of her life. She married Donald T. Guziak on September 4, 1954 in St. Stephen Catholic Church. Grace retired from Acheson Colloids after 35 years of employment. She loved to play cards and travel to Florida with her husband for the winter. Grace was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be sadly missed by all. She is survived by her husband, Donald T. Guziak of Port Huron Township; daughters, Deborah J. (Rob) Martin of North Branch and Theresa M. (Chuck) Langolf of Port Huron. Her son Robert D. Guziak of Chesterfield, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Brother, Frank (Theresa ) Schmidt of Claremont, Fl and her sister Teddy (Pete) Banting of Wisconsin. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Stephen Catholic Church. The Rev. Brian K. Cokonougher, Pastor will officiate. Visiting hours are 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and 9 a.m. Thursday at the church. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials in memory of Grace may be given to St. Stephen Catholic Church, Blue Water Hospice or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
