Stuart Boyd

Stuart G. Boyd, 67 of North Street, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007 unexpectedly. Stuart Was born July 28, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio and has lived in the Port Huron area since 1977. He married the former Charryl R. Winquist on March 20, 1971 in Detroit. She preceded him in death on September 30, 2002. Stuart retired from Lear Corp in 2005. He was a member of Hillside Wesleyan Church and enjoyed working with stained glass windows and painting. He is survived by his son, Christopher J. Boyd of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Heather L. Boyd and Sean McIntosh of Havertown, PA; his soon-to-be grandson, Cole Stuart Boyd McIntosh; mother, Gregory L. Elton of Silver Springs, FL; brother, David N. Boyd of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sister, Cindy E. (Michael) Miller of Kennesaw, GA and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Stuart was also preceded in death by his father Nelson S. Boyd. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday in Hillside Wesleyan Church. The Rev. Ray Wahl will officiate. Burial will be in Kinney Cemetery. Visiting hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Memorials in memory of Stuart may be given to Hillside Wesleyan Church.
