Douglas Conlan

Douglas Arnold Conlan died suddenly Thursday, July 5, 2007 while visiting Sawyer Glacier in Alaska. He was born March 25, 1957 in Sarnia, Ontario to the late Doug and Alice Conlan. Doug married Dr. Cheryl A. Skarbo September 4, 1993. He enjoyed the out-of-doors, life, his wife, cousins and many friends. Doug is survived by his wife of 14 years, Dr. Cheryl Skarbo-Conlan of Ft. Gratiot, two sisters, Col. Ada A. Conlan, USAF of San Antonio, TX and Mary E. Conlan of Lakeport and his brother, Michael Conlan of Williamsburg, MI His funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. William N. Wingrove will officiate. Burial will be in Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley. Visiting is 2 to 4 and 6 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or Blue Water Area Humane Society.
