Robert N Armstrong
February 15th, 1939 to July 20th, 2015
Robert Norman Armstrong, 76, was called home to God, Monday, July 20, 2015.
Bob started his career managing and then owning several Chicken Delight stores in Michigan, owner-operator of Management Recruiters and then created and ran Liturgical Publications for 34 years.
He was an entrepreneur of numerous and various enterprises particularly in the area of media communications and fundraising programs for the Catholic Church and many other denominations.
Robert pulled himself up by his boot straps working several jobs at the same time and ultimately employed hundreds of people creating many businesses. He was a people person always lending a helping hand to someone in need, and always seemed to pick up the tab.
Mr. Armstrong was a devout Catholic and practiced his faith daily. He played high school and semi-pro basketball, coached several high school championship teams and played a ton of golf. He was an avid baseball fan for the Detroit Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals being a Cardinal season ticket holder for decades, and a general sports fanatic. He loved his family dearly and we were His greatest fans.
